Installation: Simply copy the BleedGuides XT to your Quark XTensions folder and relaunch Quark.
Use: Select 'BleedGuides' from the Quark utility menu. BleedGuides XT will set guidelines (red, of course) just outside the edges of all spreads (not masterspreads!) in the current document to allow easy, 'snap-to' alignment of objects.
Hold the shift key while selecting the BleedGuides menuitem to delete the BleedGuides.
The bleed setting is one-eighth of an inch for Quark 3.3x.
For Quark 4.x, BleedGuides XT will use the value of 'Bleed' under the 'Document' tab in 'Page Setup'. If the bleed setting is changed under Quark 4.x, simply reselect the BleedGuides XT menuitem to apply the new value to the BleedGuides.
